40ft Shipping Container / Outdoor Living Space –Casa Cavu
At the Casa Cavu jungle property in Dominical, Costa Rica, this shipping container will serve a dual purpose as storage shed and worker home during the build project. We’ve updated the outdoor living space to include a new bathroom, shower, kitchen, washer and patio area. The kitchen counters, sink and food prep area is made from poured concrete while the bathroom and shower are built from locally sourced bamboo walls.
A concrete path with drainage rocks leads you from the porch to the shower. Taking a shower at night in an open air concept bamboo stall is magical. You get a great view of the stars while listening to the sounds of the dark jungle night.
