Building New Hiking Trails –Casa Cavu

The land on the Casa Cavu jungle property in Dominical, Costa Rica has steep terrain, making it hard to access different parts of the property. By adding hiking trails and footpaths, it not only helps to explore and use more of the property, it also provides walkways to make areas easier to reach for maintenance purposes.

As you hike along the trails, you will find a lot of edible landscaping, easily accessible for you to enjoy the fruits of the land. Trails will lead from the main house at the top of the property down through the fruit orchards and along the creek to the lower part of the property. Bamboo blinds and other native tropical flowers will be planted along the borders of the path to help with erosion and attract wildlife.
