Road Improvement, Drainage & Power Lines Installed –Casa Cavu
Infrastructure
Road improvements were needed to start the development projects at Casa Cavu. Working with the local municipality in Costa Rica, equipment was brought in to provide new dirt, grading and drainage ditches to improve the road leading up to and beyond the property to the neighboring developments. As part of the infrastructure improvement, concrete power poles were added and electrical lines were run and installed.
Drainage
Drainage plays an important part year around in Costa Rica’s tropical rain climate. Without proper storm drainage and grading roads can quickly deteriorate and become non-passable with one storm. Culverts and drainage pipes were added along the road and grading at the property edge was added to keep water flowing away from the property build sites, while maintaining the integrity of the road.
Electricity
The addition of the new power poles brings electricity to the whole neighborhood and immediately increased the value the Casa Cavu investment property and surrounding land. The proper permits were acquired and a new meter was installed to provide power to the main house, guest house and cabina.
